AI assistant
The Front Panel Designer can be controlled by AI using text input. Elements such as drill holes, cut-outs or labels are generated automatically and can then be adjusted.

Basic settings
In the Front Panel Designer, front panels and milled parts can be created in various basic geometric shapes – or imported as freely defined contours via DXF file.

Drill holes
Through holes and blind holes can be made in the front panel. Countersinks and threads can be applied to these holes, according to relevant standards or in a freely configurable manner.

Cut-outs
Rectangular, trapezoidal and triangular cut-outs as well as elongated holes, D-holes and curved slots are available in the software.

Cavities
Position circular or rectangular recesses on the front or back of your panel. Cavities with a raised inner surface and edge machining are also possible.

DXF Import The DXF Import Assistant enables you to quickly implement custom outer contours and transfer drill holes and cut-outs, which can then be further edited in the design.

Engraving elements
Basic geometric shapes and a large number of fonts are available. In addition to the RAL colours that we keep in stock, we would be happy to procure any colour that you need. All engraving elements can also be printed as an alternative.

HPGL engraving
Using the HPGL import feature, even complex objects such as graphics, external fonts or your company logo can be engraved onto your front panel. Learn more

Threaded studs and standoffs are available as fastening elements in Front Panel Designer in a standard and a heavy-duty version.

Digital printing
Print files can be imported directly into the front panel file. Supported file formats are: PDF, PNG, TIFF, JPG, BMP. Various print options can be set in the program.

Scales
Thanks to the scale generator, you can create round and straight scales. The scales can be engraved or printed.

Enclosures
With the integrated enclosure function, you create all sides of a complete enclosure in a single step. You can design the sides according to your specifications.

Macro objects
Front Panel Designer contains an extendable library of macro elements. This includes the right assembly sections for many common plugs, fans, switches and other components.

Add the right drill holes for 19" sub-racks with a single click. System holes for (partial) front panels are available for the systems from the companies Schroff and Fischer.
