Further materials

We process the following materials on request or as customer-supplied stock. These materials are not part of our standard inventory but can be sourced upon consultation or provided by you.

Plastics

easily machinable plastics such as POM, PTFE and various acrylic sheets

Stack of various metal sheets such as copper, brass and bronze that can be machined by Schaeffer AG’s CNC systems.

Non-ferrous metals

e.g. brass, copper, bronze

How to use Front Panel Designer

Material provision (customer material)

We machine your supplied materials as well as finished and semi-finished parts such as front panels, profiles or enclosure covers – provided they are made from a material we can process.

Procedure for orders with supplied material

For materials not listed here, please contact us directly. We will be happy to advise you in advance and, if necessary, inspect your material before machining.

Non-machinable materials

We are unable to machine steel or parts containing steel components (such as sleeves, bushings, or other steel-based elements). Elastomers and fiberglass-reinforced epoxy resins are also excluded.
