Engraving service
Would you like your logo engraved on a front panel? You can easily insert engravings in HPGL or PLT format directly in the Front Panel Designer.
Our engraving service supports you with:
Creating such a file can be technically challenging. We check your vector data for usability and generate a precise, engraving-ready file in HPGL or PLT format. If no vector file is available, we can also provide a professional vectorization of your template on request.
Costs:
HPGL/PLT file creation based on a vector file: €20 net / €23.80 gross Vectorization: €80 net / €95.20 gross

FPD design service
To manufacture your front panel, we require an FPD file created with our free Front Panel Designer. The software is precisely aligned with our production process and gives you maximum control over your design.
No time or capacity to bring your designs to life in the Front Panel Designer?
We’ll take care of that for you. Our FPD service creates your file based on your technical drawing – quickly, precisely, and in direct coordination with production.
How it works:
Send us a dimensioned technical drawing and – ideally – a DXF or STEP file to service@schaeffer-ag.de. We’ll take care of the rest.
Cost for this service:
€16.25 net/€19.34 gross per quarter of an hour or part thereof

Procurement
Do you need a material, powder coating or engraving colour that is not listed in Front Panel Designer? Get in touch with us – we will be happy to check whether procurement is possible.
Powder coatings and engraving colours
Powder coatings or engraving colours that are not available in the Front Panel Designer can be supplied on request – simply let us know the desired RAL or NCS shade.
Procurement costs:
Engraving fill colour (RAL or NCS shade, 250 ml):
€49.50 net / €58.90 gross
Powder coating (1,000 g):
€49.50 net / €58.90 gross
The costs are charged once. We store ordered colours for you – so you can easily reuse them for follow-up orders too.
Material
We process all materials available in the Front Panel Designer. If you would like to use a different material, please contact us – we will assess its feasibility and provide tailored advice.
Please note: we cannot process the following materials:
Steel
Elastomers
Fiberglass-reinforced epoxy resins
